Design Work

I began studying Media and Communication Design at Hochschule Macromedia Berlin in October 2023 (Winter Semester 2023/24) and am currently in my fourth semester (Summer Semester 2025). Since starting the program, I’ve gained a lot of experience and grown both creatively and personally.

The degree has not only deepened my understanding of design and communication, but has also changed how I perceive the world. One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is the importance of collaboration. I was once hesitant and quite shy about group work in creative contexts, however the past year and a half has shown me how powerful and useful teamwork can be. Some of the best ideas and results I’ve experienced have come from shared creative efforts, due to different inputs from group members coming together to form a beautiful final result.

Below is a selection of my design work, some developed as part of university projects, others as personal explorations or commissioned pieces.

Diving into Blender and 3D modeling opened up a whole new creative world for me. I've always wanted to build worlds, characters, and stories—inspired largely by retro horror games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. I especially love the low-poly art style—not just for its aesthetic, but for how artists once turned limitations into expressive, soulful creations.

Magazine on Sound Design – Summer Semester 2024

As part of a course assignment, we were asked to design a magazine on a topic of our choice. I chose sound design, a field I’m deeply familiar with, allowing me to combine personal insight with visual storytelling.

The abstract 3D background elements were created by me in Blender, and the overall layout was designed in Adobe InDesign. The magazine exists in both digital and printed formats.

Cover Art for a Collaborative Track

Designed the cover for a song featuring a friend. A collage where I aimed to bring forth a specific "feeling" fitting the song.

Created in Adobe Photoshop.

Flyer Design for "Booted Up" Event Series (2023) – Vienna

Commissioned by a friend. The goal was to design a promotional flyer for "Booted Up", a mostly Vienna-based event series. The commissioner wanted the flyer to look like a mix of "green and slimey", accompanied by bold typography, a nod to oldschool hip hop covers and flyers, which should balance out the chaos in the background.

For the background, I decided to make custom, slime-inspired 3D visuals, which I created in Blender. The final layout was then designed in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
